Dane Cook Adwords Campaign

Here is something interesting I noticed when I was surfing Google.com
Look at the below graphic and take a glace at the orange arrow.

Dane Cook Adwords

While browsing for the term "Dane Cook" I noticed that there was only one Google Adwords Advertisement. This struck me as kind of weird but it did bring up a great marketing point. Everyday there are hundreds of new companies and products being created and new brand names being added to the human memory which we should be capitalizing on.

Everyday millions of people search for keywords and key terms into Google however a lot of the times there are very few Ads. By keeping a look out for these rare occurrences you can corner an entire market by advertising under that keyword or key term.

In this example of Dane Cook we notice there is only 1 ad being show in Google. Knowing this information we can now advertise for dirt cheap because there is only competitor. By doing some keyword research we cal also find out how many times the term Dane Cook is being typed into Google everyday to estimate the amount of traffic we could receive.

For those of you that are familiar with Dane Cook and his work you will know that Dane is very popular among high school and college kids and his name is searched for by the thousands everyday which can lead to a HUGE amount of traffic to your web site if you were one of the advertisers.

Sometimes a company with a trademarked name will collaborate with Google making it impossible for anyone to market under their trademarked name. This may be the case in this above example however you should always try when you come across these rare occurrences.
